Tammy Buehler

As the Resource Sharing Librarian, my duties and responsibilities are the overall management, operation, long range planning, policy and procedure development, and documentation of the following services: acquisitions, cataloging, interlibrary loan, physical processing, repairs, and serials. In addition, I oversee the management of electronic resources, such as ebooks, ejournals, and our integrated library system.

I teach the general education courses of Information Literacy 1010 and 2010 designed to help sharpen information literacy skills to include the research process, searching for and evaluating information, and putting together ideas to share with others. And for the Library Media endorsement, I teach LIS 4400/6400: School Library Organization and Access which focuses on developing, curating, organizing, and managing a library collection based on data, budget, and student needs.
