interlibrary-loan: Getting Started - SUU Community

   Sign in to ILLiad

The first time you sign in, you will be asked to fill out a registration form. Please fill it out completely and use an email address that you check frequently since that is how ILLiad will communicate with you.

Your login information is the same as your SUU username and password.

   How to log in to interlibrary loan (ILLiad) as SUU student, faculty or staff

Interlibrary Loan buttonStep 1: Go to Southern Utah University's Sherratt Library website, scroll down the page to the section titled "Our Resources" and click on Interlibrary Loan.

 

SUU community login buttonStep 2: Click on the red Sign in to ILLiad button under the SUU students, faculty, and staff heading.

If you are already logged in to your mySUU portal, you will be taken to the main menu of your ILLiad account where you can start requesting books, articles, media, etc. Skip to Step 4 below.

 

SUU Library Proxy sign in boxStep 3: If you are not already logged in to your mySUU portal, you will be taken to a SUU Library Proxy sign in page. Your SUU account information is the same as your SUU username and password.

Note: If this is your first time using interlibrary loan, you will be asked to fill out a registration form. Please fill it out completely and use an email address that you check frequently since that is how ILLiad will communicate with you.
 

Interlibrary Loan new requests menu     Step 4: To request an interlibrary loan, click on New Requests from the main menu, and select the type of request from article, book, book chapter, multimedia, or thesis/conference papers.

Before placing an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request, always check to see if the Sherratt Library has what you're looking for!

 For books and media, try searching in the library catalog.

 For articles only, try searching for the journal title.
