The first time you sign in, you will be asked to fill out a registration form. Please fill it out completely and use an email address that you check frequently since that is how ILLiad will communicate with you.
Your login information is the same as your SUU username and password.
Step 1: Go to Southern Utah University's Sherratt Library website, scroll down the page to the section titled "Our Resources" and click on Interlibrary Loan.
Step 2: Click on the red Sign in to ILLiad button under the Community patrons heading.
Note: If this is your first time using Interlibrary Loan, please continue with Step 4 below.
Step 3: Login! Your login information is the username and password you chose upon registering for interlibrary loan the first time. Then you will be taken to your ILLiad main menu page. ILLiad is the name of the interlibrary loan software we use.
If you have forgotten your username and/or password, please contact Interlibrary loan by email at ill@suu.edu or by phone at 435-586-7938.
Note: If this is your first time using Interlibrary Loan, please click the 'First Time Users' link and continue with Step 4 below.
Step 4: On the next page, you will be given important information about the registration process. Then click on the First Time Users button.
Step 5: You will be asked to fill out a registration form. Please fill it out completely and use an email address that you check frequently since that is how ILLiad will communicate with you.
Please leave the department and status as "Community Member" so that you will be able to authenticate with your selected username and password when logging in.
Step 6: Once the new user registration form has been submitted, you will be taken to the main menu of your ILLiad account.
To request an interlibrary loan, click on New Requests from the main menu, and select the type of request from article, book, book chapter, multimedia, or thesis/conference papers.
Before placing an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request, always check to see if the Sherratt Library has what you're looking for!
For books and media, try searching in the library catalog.
For articles only, try searching for the journal title.
