APA (American Psychological Association) Format
APA Style is the set of guidelines and rules that the American Psychological Association maintains for professional writing and source citations in psychology and many social sciences. Sources cited in APA style are called "References." All the guidelines, rules, and everything one might want to learn about the APA writing and citation style is in:

MLA Style is the set of guidelines and rules that the Modern Language Association maintains for writing research papers and citing sources in English language and composition, and some humanities fields. Sources cited in MLA Style are listed under "Works Cited" at the end of a paper. All the guidelines, rules, and everything one might want to learn about the MLA citation style is found in:
MLA Handbook, ninth edition, Modern Language Association of America, 2021.
