The first time you sign in, you will be asked to fill out a registration form. Please fill it out completely and use an email address that you check frequently since that is how ILLiad will communicate with you.
Your login information is the same as your SUU username and password.
You must submit a renewal request through your ILLiad account. We cannot renew these items over the phone or via email.
Renewals can be requested 3 days prior to the due date, but it is up to the library that loans the item to grant the renewal.
Note: Submitting a renewal request DOES NOT mean that your item is renewed. You will receive an email letting you know if the item has been renewed or not. If you do not receive a notice confirming a renewal, assume that it has NOT been renewed and please return it by the date on your ILL sticker. If renewals are granted, there is only one renewal per item. You cannot request a second renewal; it will not be processed through ILLiad.
To renew an item please follow the steps below:
Step 1: From the side navigation bar, under Tools, click on Renew Items
Step 2: Click on the Transaction Number of the item you want to renew.
Step 3: Click on the Renew Request button at the top of the screen.
Step 4: You're done! You will receive an email either approving or denying your renewal request. However, depending on the response rate of the lending library, you may not hear if your item has been renewed or not before the due date. If you do not receive an email before the item is due, it is recommended that you return your item to the check out desk in the library, so that you do not receive late fees of $1 per day per item. If you still need the item, you will need to request the item again.
