Citing a Print Book

Use the 13 digit ISBN number (when available) to identify the books you use.  Use the 10 digit ISBN number when a 13 digit number is not printed in the book.

If your book is old and predates ISBN numbers (published before 1970), look it up at http://www.worldcat.org and use the OCLC number.  In this instance, the in-text citation would be: (oclc 944674) and the text + sources cited format would be: 4. oclc 944674.
